To add value to the orders from all customers by providing an enhanced and superior level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.



1. Order Processing

Example of activities:

  • Processing sales orders/booking transport

  • Maintenance of customer order and general records

  • Maintenance of sales related enquiries and basic follow up and research. Handling sales queries.

  • Maintenance of sales records, dealing with accounting queries and project information

2. Requests and Complaints

Example of activities:

  • Answering customer/stakeholder enquiries via telephone/email/facsimile and acting on same day so that customer receives what they require.

  • Providing interim support to technical helpdesk when applicable  

3. Sales Support

Example of activities:

  • Support Area Sales Managers where appropriate to deliver excellent service.

  • Providing basic report functionality to Area Sales Managers.

  • Support Commercial Manager with queries/reports.

4. Administration and Reporting

Example of activities:

    • General administration and office support duties. Ordering stock from internal/external suppliers.

    • Communicating internally regarding production/stock issues.

    • Organising and sending literature and general customer communications/




  • Technical knowledge/ expertise:

    - Specialised knowledge of specific commercial, technical, trades or office areas.

    - Working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management processes and systems. 

  • Competencies:

    - SAP order entry/processing preferred.

    - Microsoft office skills required.

    - Ability to work in a high pressured environment.

    - Ability to multi task.

    - Flexible attitude and ability to prioritise workload.

Area Sales Manager

To further develop the profitable sales of Recticel Insulation products to defined customer trade sectors including Roofing & Cladding Contractors, Distributors & Merchants, System manufacturers and the Specification market.



1.  To ensure the appropriate level of coverage is given to both buying and potential customers within the customer platform.

2.  Communicate, liaise and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of sustainable profitable growth and customer relationships

3.  To actively manage and develop the growth of key products/applications to the specific sectors within the sales territory. You will be expected to provide accurate and timely management information, to include: Target focused action plans, activity reports, forecasts and KPI's.

4. Conduct CPD Seminars to a defined architect and engineer's prospect base to raise the awareness of Recticel Ltd & Gradient

5. Effective analyse, implement and control the sales opportunities within the territory.

6. Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills. To perform such other duties as may occur from time to time as instructed and agreed by the field sales Manager. 

7.  Develop specifications and approval of Recticel Insulation products wit System Manufacturers and the Architectural sector.

8. Develop specific value propositions based on the account's critical success factors.

Maintenance Technician

Job Objectives:

- The efficient contribution to an established maintenance and engineering team focused on Total Preventative Maintenance and Continuous Improvement

- Responsible for supporting all aspects of day to day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards, at all times working safely, whilst optimising machine availability and efficiency

- Responsible for strong / clear communication links between shifts and relevant departments. This will also involve handovers, flexible working hours and focusing on shared objectives


Key Accountabilities:

1. Safety of yourself, those around you, and anybody effected by your own and the business activities.

2. Responsibility for the Minute to Minute, Hour to Hour and Day to Day performance of the site assets.

3. Flexible approach to shift rotas within the maintenance department to ensure necessary coverage of all production activities, including weekend working (if required).

4. Deliver the Preventative Maintenance Plan using appropriate databases as required.

5. Accountability for spare parts and the upkeep of site inventory.

6. The timely and accurate input data into TPM systems.

7. Ensure TPM and standardised maintenance activities are conducted on time and in full.

8. Support site operational activities, including breakdown support and minimising 'downtime'.

9. Pro-actively supporting Operational working in line with organisational KPI's and targets.

10. Willingness to learn new skills sets and assist in the education of fellow team members across both production and logistics operations.

Skills and Experience:

- Time served technician (ideally in both Mechanical and Electrical disciplines)

- A manufacturing based background is essential, preferably in continuous chemical process environment

- High level of competency in Pneumatic. Hydraulic systems

- Siemens PLC working knowledge would be a distinct advantage

- SEW system knowledge would be a distinct advantage

- Ability to retain a mature approach, working under own initiative, applying logical fault finding skills, often under time pressures. Just as important however, is the need to call for help at the appropriate time

- Ability to integrate within a small team of highly skilled engineers with broad technical experiences and backgrounds

- Previous experience in PU production plants: metering lines, sawing, dust exhaust, Gas and dust zoning and Hazop studies

- Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels throughout the organisation

- Pro-active and flexible approach to work. Enthusiastic contribution to Continuous Improvement initiatives

- Be able to lead by example and demonstrate good working practices to Maintenance apprentice

- It literate use of Lotus Notes, Microsoft 'Word' and 'Excel', SAP and others, would be advantageous
